About the Role & What You’ll Be Doing

We’re looking for a VP of Payer Sales (Software) to join our team and help expand our commercial footprint in our target markets. In this role, you'll help us sell advanced GenAI SaaS solutions to health insurance plan customers. You will work alongside our Executive team to empower our clients with cutting-edge AI tools that will help them reduce their costs of care and streamline their claims operations. This is a hands-on, individual contributor Sales role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our executive team to develop, refine, and maintain our sales strategy to sell modern GenAI SaaS products to health plans
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of our GenAI Platform and product offerings to effectively communicate value and ROI to health plan target customers
  • Drive company revenue growth as an individual contributor by generating new sales leads and closing target accounts
  • Create and present tailor-made sales presentations and demos to showcase the key features and value of our AI software platform to our target customers
  • Stay abreast of market and industry trends to identify opportunities for product enhancements that will best serve our target customers
  • Maintain and manage our customer pipeline within Salesforce to accurately project sales revenue

Requirements for the Role

  • 10+ years of experience selling software to health insurance plans (preferred) and/or TPAs
  • Deep healthcare payer subject matter expertise, with solid technical knowledge surrounding department-wide information systems
  • Deep technical and operational understanding of health plan claims operations and software implementation lifecycles
  • General understanding of modern technologies (AI, data science, and NLP) ability to communicate ROI to target customers
  • Proven track record of closing target accounts with opportunities north of $2M in annual recurring revenue
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation, and project management skills
  • Experience managing and maintaining Salesforce CRM software
