About the Role

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to join our team and accelerate the growth of our AI Software offerings within health insurance markets. As a pivotal member of our commercial organization, you’ll directly drive revenue growth by selling our innovative generative AI products to health plans nationwide. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead sales initiatives in a highly impactful, individual contributor capacity within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

This role is W2 full-time and only open to NYC-based candidates. We work out of our office in the Financial District T/W/Th each week. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with our executive team to define, refine, and execute our go-to-market sales strategy focused on health insurance payers.
  • Become a product expert, deeply understanding our AI platform and capabilities to compellingly articulate its value and ROI to health plan executives and operational leaders.
  • Personally drive company revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, nurturing, and closing high-value SaaS opportunities, consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Craft and deliver customized presentations and compelling product demonstrations that effectively communicate the unique benefits of Alaffia’s AI solutions.
  • Maintain an active pulse on industry trends and payer market dynamics, identifying opportunities for product enhancement and competitive differentiation.
  • Manage and maintain meticulous records of customer interactions, pipeline development, and sales forecasts in HubSpot CRM.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience specifically selling into health insurance plans.
  • Deep domain expertise and comprehensive understanding of payer operations, particularly claims processing, payment integrity, utilization management, and software implementation lifecycles.
  • Proven track record of closing large enterprise accounts and consistently achieving quota, with demonstrated ability to close SaaS deals of $2M+ ARR.
  • Familiarity with advanced technologies, including Generative AI, NLP, data science, and their applications within the healthcare payer landscape.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for articulating technical solutions in clear business terms.
  • Strong experience utilizing CRM software (HubSpot preferred) to manage customer relationships and forecast revenue.

The expected base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $210,000 with a 50/50 salary and variable split, for a total cash OTE range of $360,000 - $420,000. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including location, qualifications, and experience. In addition to base and variable compensation, this role is eligible for an equity grant.
